I haven't mentioned this before now, because of switching journals and all, but... OMG Hazuki is coming to visit me!~!!!! (Yes, it deserves all the exclamation points.)

I'm thrilled. She and her friend who works at Yotsuya are coming to Boston for a week, starting tomorrow. *happiness* I really didn't think I'd see her again for years. (For those of you out of the loop, Hazuki was my assistant resident director and close friend while I was in Tokyo.)

I'm trying to think of where I should take her--I have finals this week, but I think that's actually good because they'll take less time than class. And I should brush up on my Japanese, which I haven't used since last year >.> oops.

Um... so, YAY!

I saw your layout over at [info]layout_elitists. I know they didn't like it, but I don't particularly agree with the "default" rating. You might have better luck at another rating community, like [info]__eyecandy. I can't guarantee anything, of course. They may think it's default, too. =D But I don't. I quite like it. It's clean, refreshing, and while somewhat typical, it still works quite well. If *I* were grading it, over at __EC, I'd give it a B+ probably. =D

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain, but you can put a link up in your userinfo. That's what most people do.

OMGOMGOMG!!! She said she would be at the airport today but I had no clue that she was coming to see you!!! (I would have hid in her suitcase if I had known!!!)

Good news! I may be coming out to Maryland for the High Holidays! (::cough:: Not quite sure what days those are...but I'll be 21!) We.must.party!!!

Yeah! I'm so excited :)

Will you be able to make it up to Boston? If you can, we totally should. Maryland's still pretty far away though.

(and I won't be 21 ;_;)
